Harwich Community Center

The Harwich Community Center was built and opened in 2000 it is 32 thousand square feet and is a one-floor building. The Community Center hours of operation are from 8:30 am until 10:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9am until 5 pm Saturdays. The building hosts the Recreation Dept, Council on Aging and Channel 18.
The Building has Five (5) Activity Rooms, two are located on the Council on Aging side and three are located on the recreation side. The Activity rooms are used for numerous organizations in town and has a total estimated capacity of 50 people per room in four of the five rooms, one room is smaller and holds an estimated 25 people. The multi purpose room has a platform and is used for larger events. The estimated capacity for this room is 200 individuals, for some events the capacity changes based upon necessary setup needs.
